Right — been on this thing for something like six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d say something since someone asked me last week. I’m in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

What got me on it was honestly pretty stupid — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an ew payout would be when the place terms changed. Basically I’d guess and then be surprised. These days I stick my stake in before every slip, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator tool is the one I use most — you drop in your stake, the odds and you get the return straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, honestly that’s where most people I know lose track. Have a go yourself, it lives at lucky 15 ew calculator — free, no signup.

The thing that really made a difference were the nerdier tools. The implied probability converter which shows you what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly staking calculator — I use half kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutching one is handy too if I’m spreading across selections.

It’s not perfect mind. Its design looks very functional, let’s say — zero frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it works although the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. There’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me but you asked.

Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. If you honestly does the maths on paper, have a look — it’s saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie.
