Right — been on this thing for maybe four months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. Am in the UK, generally stick to footie and the horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.

The reason I started using it was actually pretty stupid — I never could work out what an e/w payout actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just guess and then be surprised. These days I punch the numbers in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator is the bit I open most — type in the price and your stake and you get profit and total return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the bigger stuff — acca and treble maths, a lucky 15, a yankee, which is where I always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it’s here each way bet calculator double and it’s free with no account nonsense.

The thing that genuinely made a difference was the nerdier tools. The probability converter that shows how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly tool — I use half kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutch tool is handy too when I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. Its layout feels very functional, let’s say — no flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it’s usable though the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. And no app, it’s browser only — slight shame but worth saying.

So yeah. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does what it says. If anyone even now adds it up in their head, give it a go — it’s saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.

OK — been using this thing for maybe five months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. Am UK based, generally do football and horses, small stakes, for context.

How I found it was actually pretty stupid — I could never work out what an ew return would be once you get five places instead of three. I used to just guess and get a shock. These days I punch the numbers in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator tool is the part I’m on daily — type in stake and odds and it spits out profit and total return instantly, either odds format. It also handles the multiples — acca and treble returns, a lucky 15, yankees, which is where I’d always lose track. If you want a look, it’s over at betfred lucky 15 bet calculator — free, no signup.

The thing that genuinely shifted things for me were the geekier extras. There’s an implied probability converter and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly criterion calculator — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is terrifying. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit when I’m covering two or three runners.

Not all sunshine though. Its layout feels very functional, let’s say — no flash, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it works but the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. Also there’s no app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but you asked.

Anyway. Costs nowt, barely any ads, works. Anyone who still adds it up in their head, give it a go — saves me plenty of arguments with the bookie.
