So — been using this thing for maybe four months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d say something since someone asked me a few days back. I’m in the UK, mostly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, for context.
What got me on it was honestly embarrassing — I never could figure out what an ew return would be with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d wing it and then be surprised. Now I punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.
Their single bet calculator is the one I use most — you drop in your stake, the odds and it shows the return straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — trebles returns, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, which is where I’d always got it wrong. One thing that really made a difference is the geekier extras. They’ve got an implied probability calculator and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly staking calculator — I run quarter kelly because full kelly is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool is decent if I’m splitting a race.
Couple of gripes. The layout is a bit basic — no frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On mobile it works but the bigger tables are a squeeze. There’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame just flagging it.
Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does the job. Anyone who honestly does the maths on paper, have a look — saves me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
