single_tvPn single_tvPnParticipant::OK — have been messing about with this thing for maybe a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I’d chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, mostly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.
The reason I started using it was actually embarrassing — I never could work out what an e/w return actually was once you get five places instead of three. I used to just eyeball it and then be surprised. Now punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.
The single bet calculator is the bit I open most — type in your stake, the odds and it spits out the return straight away, either odds format. Same tool covers the multiples — trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, which is where I always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at each way acca calculator — free, no signup.
What really shifted things for me were the more serious extras. There’s an implied probability thing which shows you the overround, and a kelly tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. Dutching calculator is decent if I’m spreading across selections.
It’s not perfect mind. Its interface looks pretty plain — zero polish, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it works though the acca grid are a squeeze. There’s nothing on the app store, just the site — doesn’t bother me but you asked.
Anyway. Free, no ads shoved in your face, works. If anyone honestly adds it up in their head, try it — saved me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
