OK — have been messing about with this thing for about six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d say something since someone asked me last week. I’m in the UK, mainly stick to footie and the horses, nothing mad, for context.
What got me on it was honestly pretty stupid — I could never figure out what an e/w return actually was when the place terms changed. I used to just guess and get a shock. These days I type the odds in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.
The single bet calculator tool is the part I open most — you put in your stake, the odds and you get the return straight away, fractions or decimals. There’s also the multiples — trebles maths, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, honestly that’s where I always mess it up. One thing that actually shifted things for me were the nerdier extras. There’s an probability calculator and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. The dutch tool is decent when I’m spreading across selections.
It’s not perfect mind. Its design feels very functional, let’s say — no polish, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it’s fine though the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. And nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me but worth saying.
Right, that’s me. Free, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. If you even now does the maths on paper, try it — saves me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
