single_swsi single_swsiParticipant::So — been on this thing for something like five months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. Am UK based, generally do football and horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.
How I found it was genuinely embarrassing — I could never figure out what an e/w payout would be once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d guess and get a shock. Now type the odds in before I place anything, even the boring singles.
Their single bet calculator tool is the one I open most — you put in the price and your stake and you get returns with no faffing, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, which is where most people I know mess it up. If you want a look, it lives at double bet calculator — free, no signup.
One thing that actually made a difference were the geekier bits. The implied probability converter which shows you what margin’s baked in, and a kelly criterion tool — I use half kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. The dutch tool is handy too when I’m spreading across selections.
Not all sunshine though. The design is a bit basic — zero polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On mobile it’s usable but the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me just flagging it.
So yeah. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does what it says. If you honestly does the maths on paper, have a look — saved me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
