single_rxPn single_rxPnParticipant::So — been on this thing for something like a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d say something since a mate asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, mainly stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.
How I found it was actually pretty stupid — I never could figure out what an ew payout would be when the place terms changed. I used to just wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now I type the odds in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.
Their single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — you put in your stake, the odds and it shows returns with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the multiples — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15s, yankees, and that’s where I’d always mess it up. If you want a look, it’s over at kelly strategy calculator — free, no signup.
The thing that genuinely made a difference is the nerdier extras. They’ve got an implied probability converter which shows you the overround, plus a kelly criterion tool — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one is handy too for when I’m splitting a race.
Couple of gripes. The design looks a bit basic — no polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s usable though the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. And no proper app, it’s browser only — fine by me just flagging it.
Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does what it says. If anyone still adds it up in their head, try it — saved me a fair few “wait, that’s it?” moments.
