OK — been using this thing for something like a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d chuck my thoughts in since someone asked me a few days back. I’m in the UK, generally bet football and racing, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.

What got me on it was honestly a bit daft — I never could work out what an ew return actually was once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d wing it and get a shock. Now stick my stake in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator tool is the part I’m on daily — type in the price and your stake and it spits out the return instantly, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles returns, a lucky 15, a yankee, which is where most people I know mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at accum calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What actually shifted things for me was the geekier extras. There’s an probability thing that shows what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly criterion calculator — I run quarter kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. The dutch tool is decent when I’m spreading across selections.

It’s not perfect mind. The interface is very functional, let’s say — no polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On mobile it’s usable although the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. There’s nothing on the app store, just the site — fine by me but worth saying.

Anyway. Free, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. If anyone even now works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saves me a load of arguments with the bookie.

So — been on this thing for about six months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I’m UK based, generally stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, for context.

How I found it was honestly pretty stupid — I could never work out what an ew return would be when the place terms changed. Basically I’d eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. These days I punch the numbers in before I place anything, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator is the one I use most — you drop in stake and odds and you get profit and total return instantly, fractions or decimals. It also handles the fiddly ones — trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, and that’s where most people I know lose track. If you want a look, it lives at betfred lucky 15 calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.

The thing that genuinely changed how I bet is the geekier extras. The odds-to-probability converter and it makes obvious the overround, and there’s the kelly staking tool — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutching one gets used a fair bit if I’m splitting a race.

It’s not perfect mind. Its interface is very functional, let’s say — no flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On mobile it’s fine although the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. And no app, it’s browser only — slight shame but worth saying.

Anyway. Free, barely any ads, does what it says. Anyone who even now adds it up in their head, give it a go — it’s saved me a fair few dumb bets I’d have regretted.
