OK — been using this thing for about six months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d say something since a mate asked me last week. I’m based in the UK, generally bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, for context.

What got me on it was actually embarrassing — I never could work out what an ew return actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. Now punch the numbers in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator is the part I’m on daily — type in stake and odds and it shows profit and total return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the fiddly ones — acca and treble maths, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, honestly that’s where most people I know got it wrong. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at sports betting margin calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

The thing that genuinely changed how I bet was the nerdier bits. There’s an probability thing which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I use half kelly since full stakes are terrifying. Dutching calculator is decent when I’m spreading across selections.

Couple of gripes. The design looks very functional, let’s say — not much polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it works though the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. Also there’s no app, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me just flagging it.

So yeah. Free, no ads shoved in your face, works. If anyone even now does the maths on paper, give it a go — saves me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
