single_oxsi single_oxsiParticipant::So — been on this thing for maybe four months now and it’s stuck on my phone, reckon I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. Am UK based, mainly do football and horses, nothing mad, so take it how you like.
How I found it was genuinely pretty stupid — I could never get my head round what an e/w return actually was once you get five places instead of three. I’d just wing it and then be surprised. These days I stick my stake in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.
The single bet calculator tool is the bit I’m on daily — type in your stake, the odds and it spits out profit and total return instantly, either odds format. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, which is where most people I know got it wrong. If you want a look, it lives at work out lucky 63 and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.
One thing that actually made a difference were the more serious extras. There’s an odds-to-probability calculator and it makes obvious the overround, and a kelly criterion calculator — I use half kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutch tool is decent for when I’m spreading across selections.
It’s not perfect mind. Its layout feels a bit basic — zero polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it’s fine although the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. There’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me but worth saying.
Anyway. Free, barely any ads, works. If anyone honestly works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saved me a load of arguments with the bookie.
