Right — have been messing about with this thing for something like four months now and I keep coming back, so figured I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, generally do football and horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

What got me on it was genuinely embarrassing — I could never figure out what an ew payout actually came to when the place terms changed. Basically I’d wing it and moan when the payout landed. These days I stick my stake in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator tool is the part I open most — you drop in the price and your stake and it shows returns instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the multiples — trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, and that’s where most people I know lose track. Have a go yourself, it lives at single bet calculator free and it’s free with no account nonsense.

One thing that actually shifted things for me is the more serious extras. They’ve got an odds-to-probability converter and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and a kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. The dutching one gets used a fair bit if I’m spreading across selections.

It’s not perfect mind. The design is a bit basic — not much frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s fine though the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. And nothing on the app store, just the site — fine by me but worth saying.

Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, works. If anyone even now works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — it’s saved me a fair few “wait, that’s it?” moments.
