OK — have been messing about with this thing for maybe six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, reckon I’d write something up since someone asked me last week. Am UK based, generally do football and horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

The reason I started using it was honestly embarrassing — I never could get my head round what an each way return actually came to when the place terms changed. I used to just wing it and get a shock. Now stick my stake in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator is the part I open most — type in stake and odds and you get returns straight away, either odds format. It also handles the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles maths, a lucky 15, yankees, which is where most people I know got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it’s over at single returns calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What genuinely made a difference was the nerdier bits. They’ve got an implied probability converter that shows what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutch tool is handy too if I’m covering two or three runners.

Not all sunshine though. Its interface is pretty plain — zero flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On mobile it’s usable though the acca grid are a squeeze. Also there’s no app, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me but you asked.

Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, does the job. Anyone who still does the maths on paper, try it — it’s saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie.
