single_mesi single_mesiParticipant::So — been using this thing for something like five months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, generally stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.
What got me on it was actually a bit daft — I never could work out what an each way return actually came to when the place terms changed. I used to just eyeball it and then be surprised. Now I punch the numbers in first, every time, even the boring singles.
Their single bet calculator tool is the bit I use most — you put in your stake, the odds and it spits out profit and total return straight away, either odds format. It also handles the multiples — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15s, yankees, and that’s where I always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it’s here lucky 63 kalkulátor — free, no signup.
What really changed how I bet is the nerdier bits. There’s an probability converter that shows what margin’s baked in, and a kelly criterion tool — I use half kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutch tool is decent if I’m splitting a race.
It’s not perfect mind. The layout looks a bit basic — not much frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it’s usable although the acca grid are a squeeze. And no app, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me but worth saying.
Anyway. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does the job. If you even now works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — saves me a load of arguments with the bookie.
