single_lcsi single_lcsiParticipant::Right — been using this thing for about six months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. I’m based in the UK, generally stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.
How I found it was genuinely embarrassing — I never could figure out what an ew return would be when the place terms changed. I used to just wing it and then be surprised. Now type the odds in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.
Their single bet calculator tool is the one I open most — you put in stake and odds and it shows profit and total return straight away, either odds format. There’s also the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always lose track. If you want a look, it lives at trebles bet calculator — free, no signup.
One thing that genuinely shifted things for me is the nerdier tools. They’ve got an implied probability converter which shows you the overround, and a kelly tool — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. The dutching one is decent if I’m covering two or three runners.
Couple of gripes. Its interface looks a bit basic — not much flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s usable but the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. And no app, just the site — fine by me but you asked.
Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If anyone honestly does the maths on paper, try it — saved me a fair few dumb bets I’d have regretted.
