Right — been using this thing for maybe six months now and I keep coming back, so figured I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am UK based, mostly bet football and racing, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.

The reason I started using it was actually embarrassing — I never could work out what an ew payout actually was once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d eyeball it and then be surprised. These days I type the odds in first, every time, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator tool is the one I’m on daily — you drop in stake and odds and you get the return with no faffing, fractions or decimals. There’s also the fiddly ones — acca and treble returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at yankee calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.

The thing that really changed how I bet was the more serious extras. There’s an probability thing and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and a kelly criterion calculator — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutch tool is handy too when I’m spreading across selections.

It’s not perfect mind. Its design is very functional, let’s say — zero flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On mobile it works although the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. And no app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but you asked.

Anyway. Free, no ads shoved in your face, works. If anyone still does the maths on paper, try it — saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie.
