Right — been on this thing for something like four months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d say something since someone asked me the other day. I’m based in the UK, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

The reason I started using it was genuinely pretty stupid — I never could get my head round what an e/w payout would be when the place terms changed. I used to just wing it and then be surprised. These days I punch the numbers in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.

The single bet calculator tool is the part I’m on daily — you drop in your stake, the odds and you get the return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — acca and treble returns, lucky 15s, a yankee, which is where I’d always mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at ladbrokes lucky 15 calculator — free, no signup.

What genuinely made a difference were the more serious bits. There’s an implied probability calculator which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly criterion calculator — I use half kelly because full kelly is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one is handy too for when I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. The interface looks pretty plain — zero polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s usable though the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, just the site — slight shame but worth saying.

Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, works. If anyone honestly adds it up in their head, have a look — saves me plenty of arguments with the bookie.
