So — been on this thing for something like six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am UK based, mainly do football and horses, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.

What got me on it was honestly embarrassing — I never could work out what an each way return actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just wing it and get a shock. Now I type the odds in first, every time, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator tool is the part I’m on daily — you put in your stake, the odds and it shows the return instantly, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — trebles returns, a lucky 15, a yankee, which is where I’d always mess it up. If you want a look, it’s over at kelly criterion excel formula and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What genuinely shifted things for me were the more serious extras. There’s an probability converter which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I run quarter kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit if I’m spreading across selections.

Couple of gripes. Its layout is very functional, let’s say — zero frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On mobile it’s usable though the acca grid are a squeeze. And nothing on the app store, it’s browser only — slight shame but worth saying.

Anyway. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, works. Anyone who still works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — saves me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
