Right — been using this thing for maybe four months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. I’m based in the UK, generally do football and horses, nothing mad, so take it how you like.

What got me on it was actually a bit daft — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an e/w payout would be when the place terms changed. Basically I’d wing it and then be surprised. Now stick my stake in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator is the part I’m on daily — you put in the price and your stake and it shows profit and total return with no faffing, fractions or decimals. It also handles the fiddly ones — trebles returns, a lucky 15, a yankee, honestly that’s where I’d always lose track. Have a go yourself, it lives at l15 calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

The thing that really made a difference was the more serious tools. There’s an odds-to-probability converter which shows you what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. The dutching one gets used a fair bit when I’m splitting a race.

Not all sunshine though. The design feels pretty plain — no polish, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it works although the acca grid are a squeeze. There’s nothing on the app store, just the site — fine by me but worth saying.

Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If anyone still adds it up in their head, have a look — saved me a fair few dumb bets I’d have regretted.

So — been on this thing for maybe six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d write something up since someone asked me the other day. I’m based in the UK, mainly stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

The reason I started using it was honestly pretty stupid — I could never work out what an ew payout actually came to once you get five places instead of three. I’d just eyeball it and get a shock. Now I type the odds in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

The single bet calculator is the part I’m on daily — you put in the price and your stake and you get returns straight away, either odds format. It also handles the multiples — trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, and that’s where most people I know mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at matched betting stake not returned and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What really shifted things for me were the geekier tools. They’ve got an implied probability calculator and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. The dutch tool is decent for when I’m splitting a race.

It’s not perfect mind. Its interface looks pretty plain — zero polish, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it’s usable although the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s no proper app, just the site — slight shame just flagging it.

Anyway. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If anyone even now adds it up in their head, have a look — saves me a fair few “wait, that’s it?” moments.
