single_jePn single_jePnParticipant::OK — have been messing about with this thing for maybe six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d write something up since a mate asked me a few days back. Am in the UK, generally stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, for context.
How I found it was honestly a bit daft — I could never get my head round what an ew return would be once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d wing it and then be surprised. These days I punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator tool is the bit I use most — you put in your stake, the odds and it shows returns instantly, either odds format. It also handles the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles returns, a lucky 15, a yankee, and that’s where most people I know got it wrong. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at trixie calculator — free, no signup.
One thing that actually made a difference was the more serious extras. The odds-to-probability thing which shows you the overround, and a kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is decent if I’m splitting a race.
It’s not perfect mind. Its interface feels a bit basic — no frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it works though the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s no proper app, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me but you asked.
So yeah. Doesn’t cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, works. If anyone still adds it up in their head, give it a go — saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.

I’m based in the UK, mostly stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.
How I found it was actually a bit daft — I could never get my head round what an e/w payout actually was when the place terms changed. Basically I’d eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. Now I stick my stake in first, every time, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator tool is the one I open most — you drop in the price and your stake and it shows the return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — acca and treble returns, a lucky 15, a yankee, and that’s where I’d always mess it up. What genuinely shifted things for me is the more serious bits. There’s an implied probability calculator that shows how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly staking calculator — I use half kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit for when I’m spreading across selections.
Not all sunshine though. The interface looks very functional, let’s say — no frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On mobile it works but the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me but you asked.
Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, works. Anyone who still adds it up in their head, give it a go — saves me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
