OK — have been messing about with this thing for maybe a few months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me a few days back. I’m based in the UK, mostly stick to footie and the horses, nothing mad, so take it how you like.

The reason I started using it was actually pretty stupid — I never could get my head round what an e/w payout would be with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now stick my stake in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator tool is the one I open most — type in stake and odds and it spits out profit and total return straight away, either odds format. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, which is where I’d always mess it up. Have a go yourself, it lives at lucky 15 calculator free and it’s free with no account nonsense.

One thing that really changed how I bet is the geekier bits. There’s an probability thing which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly staking calculator — I use half kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutch tool is handy too when I’m spreading across selections.

It’s not perfect mind. The interface feels pretty plain — no frills, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it works although the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. And nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me but you asked.

Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does the job. Anyone who even now does the maths on paper, try it — saved me a load of arguments with the bookie.
