OK — been using this thing for about six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I’m UK based, generally bet football and racing, nothing mad, so take it how you like.

What got me on it was honestly embarrassing — I could never work out what an e/w return actually came to when the place terms changed. I’d just guess and then be surprised. Now punch the numbers in first, every time, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — type in your stake, the odds and you get profit and total return instantly, either odds format. There’s also the bigger stuff — trebles returns, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at trixie betting calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

The thing that really shifted things for me is the geekier bits. The odds-to-probability converter and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly tool — I run quarter kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. The dutch tool is decent for when I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. The interface feels very functional, let’s say — no polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it’s fine but the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. And nothing on the app store, it’s browser only — slight shame but worth saying.

So yeah. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. Anyone who still works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — saved me a fair few dumb bets I’d have regretted.
