single_fksi single_fksiParticipant::Right — been using this thing for maybe five months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I’m in the UK, generally do football and horses, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.
What got me on it was actually pretty stupid — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an each way return would be when the place terms changed. I used to just eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. Now punch the numbers in first, every time, even a simple single bet.
The single bet calculator tool is the one I’m on daily — you drop in the price and your stake and it spits out profit and total return straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. It also handles the multiples — trebles returns, a lucky 15, a yankee, honestly that’s where I always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at free match betting calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.
The thing that genuinely changed how I bet was the more serious extras. The odds-to-probability converter and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly tool — I use half kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit for when I’m spreading across selections.
Not all sunshine though. The design looks very functional, let’s say — no polish, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s fine but the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. And no app, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.
Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If you honestly adds it up in their head, try it — saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie.
