Right — been using this thing for something like six months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me last week. I’m based in the UK, mostly stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.
What got me on it was honestly embarrassing — I never could figure out what an each way return would be once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now type the odds in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.
The single bet calculator tool is the one I use most — you drop in the price and your stake and it shows profit and total return straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. It also handles the fiddly ones — acca and treble returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always mess it up. What actually shifted things for me were the nerdier tools. The odds-to-probability calculator and it makes obvious the overround, plus a kelly staking calculator — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit for when I’m covering two or three runners.
Not all sunshine though. Its design feels very functional, let’s say — no flash, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s fine though the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. There’s no proper app, it’s browser only — slight shame just flagging it.
So yeah. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, works. Anyone who still does the maths on paper, have a look — saves me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
