Right — been on this thing for maybe six months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d say something since a mate asked me a few days back. Am UK based, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

The reason I started using it was actually a bit daft — I never could figure out what an e/w payout actually came to when the place terms changed. I’d just guess and then be surprised. Now type the odds in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator tool is the bit I use most — you drop in the price and your stake and you get the return instantly, either odds format. It also handles the fiddly ones — acca and treble returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, which is where I always lose track. If you want a look, it’s here bookmaker margin calculator — free, no signup.

One thing that really changed how I bet was the more serious bits. There’s an probability thing which shows you the overround, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are terrifying. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit when I’m covering two or three runners.

Couple of gripes. The design looks pretty plain — zero polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it works although the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, just the site — slight shame but you asked.

Anyway. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, works. If you even now does the maths on paper, try it — saves me a fair few dumb bets I’d have regretted.
