OK — been using this thing for maybe five months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d chuck my thoughts in since someone asked me last week. I’m based in the UK, mostly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.
The reason I started using it was genuinely pretty stupid — I couldn’t ever work out what an each way payout actually was when the place terms changed. Basically I’d eyeball it and then be surprised. These days I punch the numbers in before I place anything, even the boring singles.
Their single bet calculator tool is the one I’m on daily — you drop in stake and odds and you get profit and total return instantly, either odds format. It also handles the multiples — trebles returns, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, honestly that’s where I always mess it up. One thing that really made a difference is the more serious bits. They’ve got an implied probability converter and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutching one gets used a fair bit for when I’m spreading across selections.
Not all sunshine though. The design looks a bit basic — no frills, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s fine though the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame just flagging it.
Anyway. Free, barely any ads, does what it says. Anyone who still works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — saved me a fair few arguments with the bookie.
