So — been using this thing for something like five months now and I keep coming back, so figured I’d say something since a mate asked me last week. Am in the UK, generally do football and horses, nothing mad, so take it how you like.

What got me on it was actually pretty stupid — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an ew payout would be once you get five places instead of three. I’d just eyeball it and then be surprised. Now I stick my stake in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator tool is the part I’m on daily — you drop in stake and odds and you get returns instantly, either odds format. It also handles the multiples — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, and that’s where most people I know lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at implied odds and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

The thing that really made a difference is the more serious bits. The implied probability calculator that shows how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly criterion calculator — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutching one gets used a fair bit for when I’m covering two or three runners.

Not all sunshine though. The layout looks very functional, let’s say — zero polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it works although the acca grid are a squeeze. Also there’s no app, just the site — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.

So yeah. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, does the job. Anyone who still does the maths on paper, give it a go — saves me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
