Right — been on this thing for something like a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, mainly do football and horses, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.
What got me on it was actually pretty stupid — I couldn’t ever work out what an ew payout actually was once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now type the odds in first, every time, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator is the bit I use most — type in stake and odds and you get the return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the fiddly ones — acca and treble returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always got it wrong. The thing that genuinely made a difference was the nerdier extras. The probability converter and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and a kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one is handy too if I’m covering two or three runners.
Not all sunshine though. Its design feels pretty plain — not much polish, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it’s usable but the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. Also there’s no proper app, it’s browser only — slight shame but you asked.
So yeah. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. Anyone who honestly does the maths on paper, try it — saves me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
