OK — been using this thing for something like six months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am based in the UK, generally do football and horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.
The reason I started using it was genuinely a bit daft — I never could figure out what an ew return actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d eyeball it and get a shock. Now I punch the numbers in first, every time, even the boring singles.
Their single bet calculator is the one I use most — you drop in stake and odds and it spits out profit and total return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the multiples — acca and treble maths, a lucky 15, yankees, honestly that’s where most people I know lose track. One thing that genuinely shifted things for me was the nerdier extras. There’s an implied probability converter that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly staking tool — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutching one gets used a fair bit for when I’m spreading across selections.
Not all sunshine though. Its interface feels pretty plain — not much flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On mobile it’s usable but the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. There’s nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me just flagging it.
Right, that’s me. Free, barely any ads, does what it says. Anyone who honestly works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — saves me a load of arguments with the bookie.
