OK — have been messing about with this thing for maybe a few months now and I keep coming back, so figured I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. I’m UK based, generally do football and horses, a fiver here and there, for context.

How I found it was actually embarrassing — I could never get my head round what an ew payout would be when the place terms changed. I used to just wing it and moan when the payout landed. These days I punch the numbers in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.

The single bet calculator is the one I open most — type in the price and your stake and it shows the return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the multiples — doubles and trebles returns, a lucky 15, yankees, and that’s where I always got it wrong. If you fancy a poke about, it’s here dutch betting and it’s free with no account nonsense.

What genuinely made a difference were the nerdier bits. The probability converter and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly staking tool — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutching one gets used a fair bit if I’m splitting a race.

It’s not perfect mind. Its interface is very functional, let’s say — no flash, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it works though the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. There’s nothing on the app store, it’s browser only — slight shame but worth saying.

Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does the job. Anyone who still adds it up in their head, give it a go — saved me a fair few “wait, that’s it?” moments.

OK — have been messing about with this thing for maybe four months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d say something since someone asked me a few days back. Am UK based, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, for context.

What got me on it was actually embarrassing — I never could figure out what an each way payout would be once you get five places instead of three. I’d just eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. These days I punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator tool is the bit I use most — you drop in the price and your stake and it spits out the return straight away, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15s, a yankee, honestly that’s where I always lose track. Have a go yourself, it’s here fractional kelly calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.

The thing that genuinely shifted things for me is the more serious extras. They’ve got an implied probability thing that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly calculator — I use half kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is handy too when I’m spreading across selections.

Not all sunshine though. Its design is a bit basic — zero flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On mobile it’s fine but the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. And no app, it’s browser only — slight shame just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Free, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If anyone even now works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — it’s saved me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
