single_wqPn single_wqPnParticipant::OK — have been messing about with this thing for maybe five months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d write something up since a mate asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.
The reason I started using it was genuinely embarrassing — I could never work out what an e/w return actually came to once you get five places instead of three. I used to just guess and then be surprised. Now punch the numbers in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.
The single bet calculator tool is the one I’m on daily — type in stake and odds and it shows profit and total return straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles returns, lucky 15s, a yankee, and that’s where I always mess it up. If you want a look, it’s here save the student matched betting calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.
One thing that really shifted things for me were the nerdier tools. They’ve got an probability calculator and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly criterion calculator — I run quarter kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is handy too when I’m splitting a race.
It’s not perfect mind. The design looks a bit basic — zero polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it’s usable but the bigger tables are a squeeze. And nothing on the app store, just the site — slight shame just flagging it.
Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. If you even now works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — saved me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.

single_wqPn single_wqPnParticipant::So — been using this thing for about four months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me last week. I’m based in the UK, mostly do football and horses, small stakes, for context.
How I found it was honestly pretty stupid — I never could figure out what an e/w return actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just eyeball it and get a shock. Now type the odds in first, every time, even the boring singles.
The single bet calculator tool is the bit I open most — you drop in your stake, the odds and it shows profit and total return straight away, either odds format. There’s also the bigger stuff — acca and treble returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, which is where most people I know lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at free matched bet calculator — free, no signup.
One thing that genuinely made a difference is the nerdier tools. The odds-to-probability converter that shows how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit if I’m spreading across selections.
It’s not perfect mind. The interface looks very functional, let’s say — zero frills, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it works although the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s no app, just the site — slight shame just flagging it.
Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, does the job. If you honestly adds it up in their head, give it a go — it’s saved me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
