single_nxPn single_nxPnParticipant::OK — have been messing about with this thing for about four months now and I keep coming back, so figured I’d say something since someone asked me a few days back. I’m UK based, mainly do football and horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.
The reason I started using it was genuinely pretty stupid — I could never figure out what an e/w return would be when the place terms changed. I’d just guess and moan when the payout landed. These days I punch the numbers in first, every time, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator tool is the part I use most — you drop in stake and odds and it spits out returns instantly, fractions or decimals. It also handles the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, and that’s where I’d always lose track. Have a go yourself, it lives at how to work out an accumulator bet — free, no signup.
The thing that actually made a difference is the geekier bits. They’ve got an odds-to-probability converter and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit when I’m splitting a race.
Not all sunshine though. The design looks very functional, let’s say — no polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it’s usable although the bigger tables are a squeeze. Also there’s nothing on the app store, it’s browser only — slight shame but worth saying.
So yeah. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, does what it says. If you still works out returns on a calculator app, try it — it’s saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
