single_maPn single_maPnParticipant::Right — have been messing about with this thing for maybe six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I’m UK based, mostly bet football and racing, nothing mad, so take it how you like.
How I found it was honestly embarrassing — I couldn’t ever figure out what an each way payout would be when the place terms changed. I used to just guess and moan when the payout landed. These days I type the odds in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.
The single bet calculator is the part I use most — you drop in stake and odds and you get the return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — trebles returns, lucky 15s, yankees, and that’s where I’d always lose track. If you want a look, it’s over at super heinz kalkulátor and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.
What actually changed how I bet was the more serious tools. There’s an implied probability calculator that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly criterion calculator — I use half kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. Dutching calculator is handy too if I’m covering two or three runners.
It’s not perfect mind. The layout is pretty plain — not much flash, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it works although the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. And nothing on the app store, it’s browser only — fine by me but worth saying.
Anyway. Costs nowt, barely any ads, works. If anyone even now works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saved me a fair few arguments with the bookie.

single_maPn single_maPnParticipant::Right — been using this thing for about four months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d chuck my thoughts in since someone asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, generally bet football and racing, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.
How I found it was actually embarrassing — I could never work out what an e/w return actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d wing it and get a shock. These days I punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.
Their single bet calculator is the one I’m on daily — you put in the price and your stake and it shows the return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. It also handles the multiples — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, which is where I always got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it lives at 49s patent bet calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.
What genuinely changed how I bet was the nerdier extras. There’s an implied probability calculator which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I use half kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutching one is handy too if I’m covering two or three runners.
Couple of gripes. The design looks very functional, let’s say — not much flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it’s usable although the acca grid are a squeeze. And no app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame just flagging it.
Anyway. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, does the job. If you honestly works out returns on a calculator app, try it — it’s saved me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
