single_lmPn single_lmPnParticipant::OK — been using this thing for something like a few months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d write something up since a mate asked me the other day. I’m UK based, generally do football and horses, small stakes, for context.
What got me on it was actually a bit daft — I never could work out what an each way payout actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just guess and moan when the payout landed. Now I punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.
Their single bet calculator is the part I use most — you put in stake and odds and it shows profit and total return instantly, fractions or decimals. There’s also the multiples — trebles maths, a lucky 15, a yankee, which is where most people I know got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it’s here how to calculate implied odds sports betting and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.
One thing that actually made a difference was the geekier extras. The implied probability thing and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one is handy too if I’m spreading across selections.
Not all sunshine though. The design is very functional, let’s say — no flash, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s fine although the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. There’s no app, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me but you asked.
So yeah. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, works. Anyone who even now adds it up in their head, try it — it’s saved me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.

single_lmPn single_lmPnParticipant::So — been on this thing for something like four months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me last week. Am in the UK, mostly do football and horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.
How I found it was actually pretty stupid — I could never figure out what an ew payout would be when the place terms changed. I used to just eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. These days I stick my stake in before every slip, even a simple single bet.
The single bet calculator is the part I use most — you drop in the price and your stake and it shows the return with no faffing, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the multiples — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15s, a yankee, which is where most people I know got it wrong. If you want a look, it lives at super yankee calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.
The thing that actually made a difference was the more serious tools. There’s an probability calculator and it makes obvious the overround, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit for when I’m spreading across selections.
Couple of gripes. The interface feels very functional, let’s say — no frills, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it’s fine although the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. There’s no app, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me but worth saying.
Anyway. Free, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If anyone still adds it up in their head, give it a go — saved me a load of arguments with the bookie.
