OK — been using this thing for about a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am in the UK, generally bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.

How I found it was actually pretty stupid — I never could work out what an ew payout would be when the place terms changed. Basically I’d wing it and get a shock. These days I type the odds in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator tool is the bit I open most — you drop in the price and your stake and it shows profit and total return instantly, either odds format. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, which is where most people I know got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it lives at super heinz bet example and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

One thing that actually shifted things for me is the more serious tools. The implied probability converter and it makes obvious the overround, and a kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutch tool is handy too for when I’m spreading across selections.

It’s not perfect mind. The layout looks very functional, let’s say — not much frills, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s usable although the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. There’s no proper app, just the site — slight shame just flagging it.

Anyway. Free, no ads shoved in your face, does the job. If anyone still does the maths on paper, try it — saved me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
