So — been using this thing for about five months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I’m UK based, mostly stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.
What got me on it was actually pretty stupid — I could never figure out what an each way return would be with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just eyeball it and then be surprised. Now punch the numbers in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.
Their single bet calculator tool is the one I use most — you put in the price and your stake and you get returns instantly, fractions or decimals. There’s also the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, honestly that’s where I’d always lose track. What actually changed how I bet were the nerdier extras. There’s an implied probability converter which shows you the overround, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is handy too for when I’m covering two or three runners.
Not all sunshine though. The layout is a bit basic — zero flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On mobile it’s usable but the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. There’s no app, just the site — slight shame but worth saying.
Anyway. Free, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. Anyone who still adds it up in their head, give it a go — saved me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
