Right — been on this thing for about five months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I’m UK based, mainly stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.

How I found it was actually pretty stupid — I never could get my head round what an ew payout actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just eyeball it and then be surprised. These days I stick my stake in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator is the part I open most — type in the price and your stake and it shows profit and total return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the fiddly ones — acca and treble maths, lucky 15s, yankees, and that’s where I always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at how many selections in a super heinz — free, no signup.

The thing that really made a difference were the geekier extras. They’ve got an implied probability converter that shows the overround, and a kelly staking tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutching one is decent if I’m splitting a race.

Not all sunshine though. Its interface feels very functional, let’s say — not much polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it works though the acca grid are a squeeze. There’s nothing on the app store, just the site — doesn’t bother me but you asked.

Anyway. Free, barely any ads, does the job. If you honestly works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — saves me a fair few arguments with the bookie.
