Right — been using this thing for maybe five months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d write something up since a mate asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, mostly bet football and racing, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.

How I found it was honestly embarrassing — I couldn’t ever work out what an e/w return actually came to when the place terms changed. Basically I’d guess and then be surprised. Now stick my stake in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

The single bet calculator tool is the bit I open most — you drop in stake and odds and it shows the return with no faffing, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, which is where most people I know lose track. Have a go yourself, it lives at acca odds calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

One thing that really shifted things for me was the nerdier extras. There’s an odds-to-probability calculator that shows how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly calculator — I use half kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutch tool is decent if I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. The design feels very functional, let’s say — zero frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it works though the bigger tables are a squeeze. There’s no proper app, just the site — fine by me just flagging it.

So yeah. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, does what it says. If you honestly works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
