Right — been on this thing for maybe six months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I’m UK based, generally bet football and racing, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.
The reason I started using it was genuinely a bit daft — I could never figure out what an each way payout actually was once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d wing it and get a shock. Now I punch the numbers in first, every time, even the boring singles.
Their single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — type in stake and odds and it spits out profit and total return straight away, fractions or decimals. There’s also the multiples — trebles maths, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, and that’s where I always mess it up. One thing that actually made a difference were the more serious tools. They’ve got an probability thing that shows the overround, plus a kelly staking tool — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. The dutch tool is decent when I’m covering two or three runners.
It’s not perfect mind. The interface feels very functional, let’s say — no frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it’s usable though the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s no proper app, just the site — slight shame but worth saying.
Anyway. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does the job. If you even now works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — it’s saved me a fair few dumb bets I’d have regretted.

One thing that genuinely changed how I bet is the more serious bits. There’s an odds-to-probability calculator which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly calculator — I use half kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is decent when I’m splitting a race.
Couple of gripes. Its interface is very functional, let’s say — no flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it’s fine but the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. Also there’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me just flagging it.
Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. If you even now does the maths on paper, give it a go — saves me plenty of arguments with the bookie.
