single_jqPn single_jqPnParticipant::OK — been using this thing for maybe six months now and I keep coming back, so figured I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, generally do football and horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.
The reason I started using it was genuinely embarrassing — I never could figure out what an each way payout actually was when the place terms changed. Basically I’d eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. Now stick my stake in first, every time, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator tool is the one I’m on daily — you put in stake and odds and you get returns straight away, fractions or decimals. It also handles the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, which is where most people I know lose track. If you want a look, it lives at what is a super heinz bet and it’s free with no account nonsense.
The thing that really changed how I bet was the geekier tools. They’ve got an implied probability calculator which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly criterion calculator — I use half kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is decent if I’m spreading across selections.
Couple of gripes. The design looks pretty plain — not much frills, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s fine though the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. There’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me just flagging it.
Anyway. Free, not plastered in adverts, works. If anyone honestly works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saves me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.

single_jqPn single_jqPnParticipant::So — have been messing about with this thing for about six months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d say something since someone asked me a few days back. I’m based in the UK, generally do football and horses, nothing mad, for context.
What got me on it was honestly a bit daft — I could never figure out what an each way return actually came to once you get five places instead of three. I used to just guess and get a shock. Now type the odds in first, every time, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator tool is the one I’m on daily — you put in the price and your stake and it spits out the return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the bigger stuff — trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, honestly that’s where most people I know mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at kelly strategy calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.
What really changed how I bet is the more serious bits. There’s an implied probability calculator which shows you the overround, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are terrifying. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit if I’m spreading across selections.
Not all sunshine though. Its layout is pretty plain — not much flash, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it’s usable although the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. And nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but you asked.
Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does the job. Anyone who even now works out returns on a calculator app, try it — it’s saved me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
