single_vxPn single_vxPnParticipant::So — been on this thing for about four months now and it’s stuck on my phone, reckon I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, generally stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, for context.
What got me on it was honestly pretty stupid — I could never get my head round what an ew payout actually was with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d eyeball it and then be surprised. Now stick my stake in before every slip, even a simple single bet.
The single bet calculator tool is the bit I use most — type in the price and your stake and it shows the return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the multiples — doubles and trebles maths, a lucky 15, a yankee, and that’s where I’d always got it wrong. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at each way bet calculator double and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.
One thing that really changed how I bet was the geekier extras. They’ve got an odds-to-probability converter that shows how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutch tool is decent for when I’m splitting a race.
It’s not perfect mind. The interface looks a bit basic — zero flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it’s usable though the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.
So yeah. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, does the job. If you even now works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — it’s saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
