Data RecoveeParticipant::Definitely, you can have Windows on a Chromebook and at the same time keep ChromeOS by doing dual boot or virtualization. Few people go for dual-boot with custom firmware to install Windows alongside ChromeOS and they are able to select the system at startup. On the other hand, Windows can be run as virtual machines under Linux which can be installed on a Chromebook however limitations in performance are expected. Besides this, there are examples of one accessing Windows desktop remotely in the cloud. All these ways leave ChromeOS as it is but whether they will work depends on one’s Chromebook model, storage capacity and hardware features.
