I think that everything said was actually very logical. However, what about this? suppose you typed a catchier title? I ain’t saying your content isn’t solid, but suppose you added something that grabbed folk’s attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little vanilla. You could glance at Yahoo’s front page and see how they create news headlines to get people interested. You might try adding a video or a related picture or two to grab people excited about what you’ve written. In my opinion, it could bring your blog a little livelier.
