single_jePn single_jePnParticipant::OK — been using this thing for maybe four months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d write something up since someone asked me a few days back. Am UK based, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.
The reason I started using it was honestly a bit daft — I never could figure out what an each way return would be once you get five places instead of three. I’d just wing it and get a shock. Now punch the numbers in before every slip, even a simple single bet.
The single bet calculator is the one I use most — type in the price and your stake and you get the return straight away, fractions or decimals. It also handles the bigger stuff — acca and treble returns, a lucky 15, a yankee, and that’s where most people I know mess it up. If you want a look, it’s over at super heinz bets and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.
One thing that genuinely made a difference is the more serious extras. There’s an implied probability calculator that shows what margin’s baked in, and a kelly tool — I use half kelly since full stakes are terrifying. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit for when I’m spreading across selections.
Not all sunshine though. Its layout is pretty plain — no flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it’s usable though the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. And no app, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me just flagging it.
Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. If you honestly does the maths on paper, give it a go — it’s saved me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.

single_jePn single_jePnParticipant::OK — have been messing about with this thing for maybe six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d write something up since a mate asked me a few days back. Am in the UK, generally stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, for context.
How I found it was honestly a bit daft — I could never get my head round what an ew return would be once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d wing it and then be surprised. These days I punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator tool is the bit I use most — you put in your stake, the odds and it shows returns instantly, either odds format. It also handles the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles returns, a lucky 15, a yankee, and that’s where most people I know got it wrong. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at trixie calculator — free, no signup.
One thing that actually made a difference was the more serious extras. The odds-to-probability thing which shows you the overround, and a kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is decent if I’m splitting a race.
It’s not perfect mind. Its interface feels a bit basic — no frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it works though the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s no proper app, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me but you asked.
So yeah. Doesn’t cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, works. If anyone still adds it up in their head, give it a go — saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
