Right — have been messing about with this thing for something like a few months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d write something up since a mate asked me last week. I’m in the UK, generally do football and horses, nothing mad, for context.

How I found it was actually a bit daft — I never could work out what an ew return actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just guess and moan when the payout landed. Now type the odds in before I place anything, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — you drop in the price and your stake and it shows the return straight away, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — trebles returns, lucky 15s, a yankee, and that’s where most people I know mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at betting percentage calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

The thing that genuinely made a difference were the geekier extras. They’ve got an odds-to-probability converter which shows you the overround, and there’s the kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit if I’m spreading across selections.

It’s not perfect mind. The design looks a bit basic — no frills, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s usable though the bigger tables are a squeeze. There’s no proper app, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me but worth saying.

Anyway. Costs nowt, barely any ads, works. Anyone who honestly does the maths on paper, give it a go — saves me a fair few “wait, that’s it?” moments.
