single_csPn single_csPnParticipant::So — been on this thing for maybe six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am based in the UK, generally stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.
How I found it was genuinely embarrassing — I never could get my head round what an each way payout would be with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just wing it and then be surprised. Now I stick my stake in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.
The single bet calculator is the part I open most — you drop in the price and your stake and you get the return instantly, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles returns, a lucky 15, yankees, honestly that’s where I always mess it up. Have a go yourself, it lives at accumulator matched betting calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.
The thing that genuinely shifted things for me were the geekier bits. They’ve got an implied probability converter and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly calculator — I use half kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one is decent when I’m covering two or three runners.
Not all sunshine though. The interface is very functional, let’s say — zero polish, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s fine though the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. And no proper app, it’s browser only — fine by me but worth saying.
Anyway. Free, not plastered in adverts, works. If anyone honestly does the maths on paper, have a look — it’s saved me a load of arguments with the bookie.
